What must I bring with me to tour an apartment?

Valid driver's license or government issued photo ID.

What are the income and credit qualifications?

Applicants must have a combined gross income of at least three (3) times the monthly rent and pass a third-party credit screening process.

What documents are accepted as proof of income?

Acceptable proof of income includes the two (2) most recent pay stubs or the two (2) most recent months of bank statements. All documents must be submitted and verified through Snappt as valid proof of income. Management may request additional income documentation if needed. Please refer to the signed rental criteria at the time of application submission for more information.

What happens if I qualify for an apartment, but my roommate does not?

If your roommate does not meet the qualifying criteria, they will not be approved to lease or reside on the property.

Is my security deposit fully refundable?

Upfront security deposits are fully refundable, less any charges for damages. Please note that Deposit Insurance fees are non-refundable, and any pet fees paid at move-in are not refundable deposits.

If I get a job transfer, can I break my lease?

If you need to break your lease for any reason, you must provide a 60-day written notice, pay the lease termination fee, and repay any concessions previously received.

Can I switch to a month-to-month lease after my first year?

At the end of your initial lease term, your lease will automatically convert to a month-to-month (MTM) lease unless you choose to renew for a fixed term or provide a 60-day written notice. Please note that a month-to-month fee will apply.

Do you accept short-term leases?

Unfortunately, we do not accept short-term leases.

Are residents required to have renters' insurance?

Yes, residents are required to maintain renters’ insurance with a minimum of $100,000 in personal liability coverage. The policy must include your unit and list all adults on the lease.

Yes! Jefferson Elara offers the Loft Living resident app to all residents. Through the app, you can pay rent, view statements, submit work orders, and more—anytime, right from your phone.
